LANPASS Charges and Fees

 

1. Service Charge for claiming LANPASS airline ticket awards

 

This charge exists in addition to the applicable boarding fees and taxes, and varies in accordance to the type of reward you're collecting. In order to inquire as to the cost of collecting your reward, please contact us via our Call Center or LAN offices.

The service charge applies ONLY if you claim your reward through the Call Center or LAN offices.

If you collect the reward via LAN.com, YOU PAY NO SERVICE CHARGE!

 

2. Fees applicable for making changes in issued LANPASS airline ticket

 

You may make changes in your reservation without incurring additional charges prior to your airline ticket being issued.

However, once the award ticket has been issued , LANPASS will charge a fee for any changes that generate a ticket re-issue, that is, changes in date, route or flight. This charge will vary depending on the type of award claimed. Remember that there is no charge for changing the date of your LANPASS award if you do it through LAN.com.

Changes must take place through LAN's Call Center, by paying the fee directly with a credit card, or at any LAN office.

3. Charges for return of already issued LANPASS awards

 

Beginning January 1, 2007, if you claim a ticket and choose to return it after it has been issued, you must pay a fee in kilometers depending on the award claimed.

How do I make a return?

Request your return by contacting the LANPASS call center. After you have filed your request, the unused kilometers will be returned to your LANPASS kilometers account.
