Stretchers

This service is available to passengers who cannot use a seat in a vertical position and need to make use of a stretcher during the flight.

In order to use this service, the passenger must be traveling with a qualified companion (doctor, nurse or midwife) who will attend to the medical needs of the passenger, unless the Medical Certification stipulates says differently. The companion of the passenger requiring the stretcher must appear at the Check-in area 90 minutes before the scheduled time at which the passengers must arrive for the flight.

It is the responsibility of the passenger to bring all the articles necessary to satisfy his or her physiological needs.

The stretcher service must be requested 48 hours prior to the flight's departure, and is available for Domestic Routes in Chile and Peru, flights between Chile and Bolivia and flights to Mount Pleasant via our Call Center or at any LAN sales office.
