Date change at LAN.com
- The reservation must include at least one adult passenger (+ 18 years old).
- The ticket must be valid, (validity date starting from the date the ticket was first issued, 12 months for all flights).
- The change of date does not increase the validity of the ticket. It keeps the terms given at the original date of first issuance.
- Changes are only allowed within the same class or higher fares. In case the original class of service of service is no longer available, the new ticket will be re-issued at a higher one.
- If you have already commenced you travel, you will be allowed to change the date as long as you respect the original conditions.
Restrictions for itinerary changes
- Once the trip has initiated, no changes in route will be allowed. Only change of date will be allowed.
- In case of changes to the itinerary, the date of the last change of itinerary is considered as date of issuance.
General restrictions
- If the change generates a credit in favor of the passenger the change must take place at a LAN office or through our call center.
- If the change generates an additional cost to be paid by the passenger due to an increase of fare, difference in the value of the rate or by an increase of flights stops or connections, passenger will be able to pay the difference online within the re-scheduling process.
- Your flight must have at least two rate components. That is, the reservation must be one-way (for example, Miami/Lima), two-way (Miami/Lima/Miami), or two–way with connections (for example, Cusco / connecting in Lima / Cusco / connection in Santiago / Miami). It does not apply to any other type of flight.
- If the passengers have already checked in, the must uncheck themselves before making the date change.
