**We’d like to inform you that American Airlines (AA) has imposed a luggage embargo until August 31, 2012 on routes from the U.S.A. to Central and South America, Mexico and the Caribbean (excluding Mexico City). This embargo means that, on these routes, AA is not accepting any type of box or additional piece of luggage to that permitted in the free luggage allowance, nor excess luggage that exceeds the 32kgs. allowed for each checked piece.
