Weather at Machu Picchu

The temperature at Machu Picchu is more or less the same whatever the season and, in both in winter and summer, nights are chilly, with the temperature rising around midday.

On average, temperatures fluctuate between 8º C and 22º C, although on the peaks 6,270 meters above sea level, it’s extremely cold.

The rainy season lasts from November to March and it’s warm and dry between April and October.
