How to get around in Quito

Car rental services are available upon arrival at the Mariscal Sucre International Airport. Visitors can also hire a taxi to take them to the city center.

Local shuttle services offer guided tours to the surrounding areas, or tourists can ride the Quito city bus which is connected to a large grid with established stops. For travel between provinces, visitors should head to the Quitumbe station (between the avenues of Cóndor Ñan and Mariscal Sucre) or the Carcelén station (on Eloy Alfaro Avenue).
