Portillo Ski Resort
Hotel Portillo sells ski week packages (from Saturday to Saturday) at three locations: the Gran Hotel Portillo, the Octagon and the Inca Lodge.
With room for 300 guests, Hotel Portillo is the center’s heart. Its rooms are both comfortable and traditional. Whether you’re staying in a single or a double, you’ll either have a view of the lake or the valley. As such, the most sought-after rooms are the sixth floor suites with a view of the lake, which, once frozen, resembles a giant sculpture. The Hotel also has family apartments with two rooms and one or two bathrooms, for a minimum of 4 or 5 people, respectively.
As its name implies, this is an unusual octagonal building, offering four-person rooms with two bunk beds and a bathroom. There is also the option of reserving a room for 2 or 3 people.
Ideal for young people. It is the least expensive alternative for staying in Portillo. You can freely access all the hotel´s facilities, but meals are served at the self service area. Paying extra allows you to eat in the main restaurant. Inca Lodge has small rooms with two bunk beds. Since last year, the common bathrooms were completely renovated. New glass doors replaced the shower curtains and the lighting was improved.
