The Mataveri International Airport is the principal air terminal for Easter Island. Operated exclusively by LAN which provides flights to and from Santiago-Rapa Nui, the airport is also used as a midway point for passengers traveling to Papeete. The facility offers a bar-restaurant, craft and souvenir shops, a luggage storage area and kiosks operated by various hotels on the island.
