Weather in Salta

The Lerma Valley - in which Salta is located - has a warm weather with an average temperature of 22° C. It does however get a lot of rain between December and February - an average of 1,000 ml. per year - while inland there are artificial oases in some of the province's towns, created by the heat generated by the towns themselves.
