LAN.COM MOBILE LAUNCHES NEW SERVICE ALLOWING PASSENGERS TO VIEW THE STATUS OF THEIR FLIGHTS IN THEIR MOBILE PHONES Mobile will allow customers to save time by checking the status of their flights before leaving for the airport.

In order to continue providing its customers with the best travel experience, LAN announced the launch of its version in mobile-phones –cell phones with Internet browsing capability and/or Smartphone’s. This system will allow their passengers to enhance the beginning of the travel experience by giving them access to key services from the start of the boarding process.

So as just entering from mobile devices, passengers may –among other services, check the status of their flights, view itineraries or find LAN telephone numbers. Furthermore, to streamline the boarding process, passengers also can make their check-in.

" Mobile is a new service that we implemented to improve the travel experience for our customers that will allow access from their cell phones to the main services we have today in For example, we are starting out by giving them the possibility of getting to know the status of their flights, and thus allow the passenger to check if your flight is on schedule before leaving for the airport", said Peter Margozzini, LAN’s Corporate Marketing director.
