This service is available for passengers who cannot use a seat in a vertical position and need to use a stretcher during the flight.
In order to use this service, the passenger must travel with a qualified companion (doctor, nurse or midwife) who is able to attend to their medical needs, unless their medical certificate says differently.
The companion of the passenger requiring the stretcher must check-in 90 minutes before the scheduled check-in time.
It is the passenger’s responsibility to bring with them everything they require to satisfy their physiological needs. The stretcher service is available on domestic flights in Chile and Peru and on flights to Mount Pleasant. It must be requested 48 hours prior to the flight’s departure via our Call Center or at any LAN sales office.
