Sharp items and firearms

For safety reasons, passengers are not allowed to carry sharp items in their carry-on baggage or on their person.

Not allowed in carry-on baggage

Examples:

• Any kind of object used for cutting
• Metal nail files and nail clippers
• Needles or knitting needles
• Tools
• Others

Any firearms being transported as checked baggage must be declared and unloaded.

Failure to declare these items is against civil aviation regulations.
