How to qualify for category Commodore

Accumulating 150.000 kilometers with LAN or oneworld

Tip: Remember that only these types of kilometers are valid in order to qualify for fly Elite categories.

• For flights taken with LAN o oneworld using tariffs that allow kilometer accumulation (with a minimum of 4 segments flown with LAN).
• For LAN Business Class kilometer bonus.
• The kms. considered valid for qualifying for the different Elite LANPASS categories will be those entered between January 1st and December 31st of each year, independent of the date on which the flight took place according to the terms and conditions of the program.
• LAN fares that accumulate 125% and 150%, qualify the user for a higher category. Only in this instance will the kilometers additional to the 100% flown will also qualify the user for a higher.

Flying 100 segments with LAN

• On LAN flights that allow for the earning of kilometers.
• The kms. considered valid for qualifying for the different Elite LANPASS categories will be those entered between January 1st and December 31st of each year, independent of the date on which the flight took place according to the terms and conditions of the program.

What is a segment? A segment is defined as a direct flight between two cities that may or may not include stops. For example: A Santiago-Buenos Aires-Santiago trip counts as 2 segments - Santiago-Buenos Aires and Buenos Aires-Santiago.

Earning 90,000 kilometers with LAN in Business Class with a minimum of 6 medium or long range portions

• Valid kilometers are earned through LAN or oneworld flights or through bonus kilometers for flying with LAN in Business Class.
• Business Class flights must be LAN flights at rates, and on routes, that allow earning kilometers and must correspond to at least 6 portions.
• Business Class flights must be medium or long haul, which, according to LANPASS' definition are LAN international flights in Business Class with a distance of more than 1,600 kilometers between stops.
• The goal must be met between January 1st and December 31st of each year.
• Once the goal is met, the category will be given within a maximum of 15 days after the qualifying date.
