How to qualify for category Premium

In order to recognize the preferential differences in members who make few long haul flights and those who make frequent short haul fights, LANPASS has designed 2 ways to gain access to the Premium category: One by number of miles flown and the other by quantity of flights.

Premium
Accumulating 40.000 kilometers in 1 calendar year :

Tip: Remember that only these 2 types of kilometers are valid in order to qualify for fly Elite categories.

  • For flights taken with LAN or oneworld using fares that allow kilometer accumulation (with a minimum of 4 segments flown with LAN).
  • For LAN Business and First Class kilometer bonus.
  • Between January 1 and December 31 of each year.
  • Fares that accumulate 125% and 150%, qualify the user for a higher category. Only in this instance the kilometers additional to the 100% flown will also qualify the user for a higher category.

Premium
Flying 30 LAN segments in a maximum period of 1 calendar year
  • Between January 1st and December 31st of each year.

What is a segment? A segment is defined as a direct flight between two cities that may or may not include stops. For example: A Santiago-Buenos Aires-Santiago trip counts as 2 segments - Santiago-Buenos Aires and Buenos Aires-Santiago.
