Weather in Lima

The weather in Lima is characterized by a unique combination of atmospheric phenomena: very little rain but very high humidity.

The coast is a series of microclimates that provide the city with a temperature that is both humid sub-tropical and desert. The result is mild, without extreme heat or cold with a yearly average of 19ºC (66ºF). Thermometers swing from 22º-28ºC (72º-82ºF) in summer (December to April) and from 12º-19ºC (54º-66ºF) in winter.
