Weather in Quito

Because of its altitude and location on the equator, Quito's temperature shifts dramatically from day to night. Average daytime temperatures fluctuate from 23°-25°C (73°-77°F) and drop to approximately 10°C (50°F) at night.

The rainy season lasts from October to December, while the driest months are May through September. Ecuadorians recommend that you always be prepared for warm morning sunshine followed by sudden rain and chill in the evening.
