LANPASS members will now be able to redeem oneworld associate airlines kilometers visiting LAN.com

Tuesday, March 15th, 2011 – Members of the LANPASS program can now redeem kilometers from every oneworld associate airlines visiting LAN.com, whether if the passenger is connecting LAN Airlines or other airlines in the oneworld alliance, involving no additional costs for them at all.  

Passengers redeeming LANPASS kilometers can now fly connecting any airline of the oneworld alliance (American Airlines, British Airways, Cathay Pacific Airways, Finnair, Iberia, Japan Airlines, LAN, Malév Hungarian Airlines, Qantas, Royal Jordanian y S7 Airlines) and associates (TAM, Aeroméxico and Alaska Airlines), making it easier for the rest of world to connect to South America, thus also placing LANPASS as one of oneworld’s leading frequent flyer program.

As this initiative strengthens LAN.com’s commitment to its LANPASS partners, by giving them more options to use their kilometers, Ralph Piket, Manager Director LANPASS, stated: “In LANPASS we always look to add value to our customer’s travel experience and LAN.com’s new gadget will allow our clients to have an easier way to plan trips using their LANPASS kilometers”.
