LAN CARGO Mexican affiliate announces flights to Brazil, Argentina and United States routes
México D.F., México, March 7th, 2011 –LAN CARGO's affiliate in Mexico, Mas Air, the Air Cargo market leader in Mexico, will increase its frequency on routes from Mexico City and Guadalajara to Brazil, Argentina, Los Angeles and Miami in the United States, starting March 2011.
Luis Sierra, General Manager, Mas Air stated: “In Mas Air, we are very glad to being able to reach three new destinations, which will reinforce our presence in Los Angeles and Miami. With direct flight to Brazil and Argentina we seek to strengthen our Air Cargo network in South America, which includes hubs such as Peru, Colombia, Venezuela and Ecuador, offering our clients a regular service with the highest quality standards”.
This frequency boost will take form with the recent acquisition of a new aircraft to Mas Air fleet, a Boeing 767-300F, which was announced previously by LAN CARGO, in December 2010.
Sierra explained how the decision of bringing this new aircraft responds to a sustained growth in the demand from costumers, besides the realization of the opportunities presented in the region nowadays. In addition to this, the Company’s conviction is to further strengthen the operation in the Brazilian market, as well as the opening of routes to Buenos Aires, in Argentina.
