The average daily temperature for July in Bariloche is a chilly 6°C (42°F), and the mercury often drops below freezing at night. Summer (December to February) averages sit between a comfortable 19°C (66°F) and 22°C (72°F), though early morning temperatures can be as low as 5°C (41°F). A strong westerly wind is present throughout much of the year, mostly in spring (September to Novemeber), making pleasant daytime temperatures suddenly frighteningly icy!
