Easy Pre Check-in or Check-in at LAN.com
Web Pre Check-in is a simple process that allows you to choose your seat from the comfort of your home or office, bypass long lines at the ticket counter, and head straight to the express Check-in counter when traveling on international flights from North America to South America or viceversa.
For your regional flights within South America and domestic flights within Argentina, Chile, Ecuador and Peru, Check-in is available, so don't forget to select your seat and print your boarding pass ahead of time. Pre Check-in and Check-in are available between 48 and 3 hours before a flight's departure.
Checking-in at LAN.com is a 5-step process that allows any passenger with an electronic ticket to choose their seat and print their boarding pass from the comfort of their home or office 48 to 2 hours before their flight leaves.
Find your flight
There are 2 ways to find the flight you want to check-in for:
1. By entering the reservation code (for example, YCF2H1) and the passenger’s surname for example, Moreno).
2. By entering an ID number and the passenger’s surname.
Please bear in mind that:
- To check-in at LAN.com, you must have an electronic (not paper) ticket and it must be 48 to 2 hours before your flight leaves.
- Online check-in is not available for some routes. For these, only a pre-check-in service is offered. In other words, because these routes require a stricter checking of the documentation needed at the airport check-in counter (for example, routes to and from the United States), only seat selection is available. Check the complete list of routes which only offer a pre-check-in service.
- Online check-in is not available for passengers requiring any kind of special service (for example, a wheelchair). These passengers should contact our Call Center.
Group check-ins
If you need to check-in a group or are the leader of a group, enter the group’s reservation code and your ID number.
Please bear in mind that this service is only available for passengers with an electronic ticket, a confirmed reservation and a reserved seat.
Preferential seats for Comodoro members
Comodoro members travelling on domestic flights in Chile, Peru, Argentina, Colombia and Ecuador can check-in through LAN.com with access to the best seats.
To make things even more convenient for Comodoro members, LANPASS has made seats available for them exclusively through the LAN.com check-in service.
These seats are only available for Comodoro members 48 to 2 hours before their flight leaves.
In line with our aim of simplifying procedures at the airport, preferred check-in counters, the pre-check-in service and attention for special services for flights within Chile are no longer available for these members.
