The new LANPASS FLEXIBLE REDEMPTION system has lots more seats available so you can redeem your kms. and choose the date on which you want to fly!

Economy class

The number of kms. required up to now at the Classic level stays the same in this system and there are two more new levels in Economy class - Plus and Full - so you can choose the combination that is best for you to make up your return trip.

The same number of kms. and the same availability that existed up to today.

For + kms., greater availability. For + kms. than at the Plus level, maximum availability.

Premium Economy and Premium Business class

The Premium Economy and Premium Business classes also have two reward levels, Classic and Plus, providing greater availability for more kilometers..

So that redeeming flights is even easier, the new system includes a calendar so you can see all the rewards available, three days before and three days after the chosen travel date.

In order to make the award redemption easier, the new system includes a timetable in which you will see all available awards, three days before and three days after the date you chose to fly.

If you are lacking kilometres, you can purchase them immediately, within the same redemtion process. With so many options to choose, you can redeem your kilometers immediately without reservation!*

Remember that before redeeming your kilometers it is important:

• Every time you redeem a LANPASS prize ticket at LAN offices or through the Call Center you should have to pay a service fee for each ticket (LANPASS service fee). This fee is additional to the rates of shipment and taxes and currency changes according to the type of ticket you have exchanged. If you make your redemption at LAN.com, you do not pay the service fee.
• Consider the rates of shipment and taxes. The LANPASS prizes, just like paid tickets, have associated rates of shipment and taxes that you will have to pay when making upor redemption. You will pay them online with your credit card in step 3 of the prizes exchange process.
• Tickets to fly in LAN are valid for 6 month in domestic flights and 1 year in international flights, since the issuance date.
• Because of the complexity of itineraries and the range of connections and combinations, there are some prizes that can only be exchanged through the LANPASS Call Center or through your travel agent. These are:
  • Prizes to fly oneworld airlines without connections in LAN flights.
  • Prizes to fly in associated airlines without connections in LAN flights.
  • Prizes of Upgrade with kilometers.
  • Other tickets to fly in LAN (with more than one destination, that combine airlines or that include routes not qualified for the exchange of kilometers).

* Awards must be issued immediately, that’s to say, reservation and issuance must happen at the same time.
