TAM Airlines inaugurates flight between São Paulo and Rosario

São Paulo, December 5, 2014 - TAM Airlines will inaugurate a new flight between Brazil and Argentina on January 2. The flight, which will connect São Paulo in Brazil and Rosario in Argentina, will be operated by Airbus A320 aircraft with capacity for 156 Economy Class seats.

“This new route is important for TAM as we will be able to meet the demand that has been created by the growth of tourism in Rosario,” says Rosário Altgelt, senior director of the Short-Haul Business Unit at the LATAM Airlines Group. "The new direct service, operated daily, will also contribute to business development between the two regions, since São Paulo is the financial heart of Latin America and Rosario is a hub for the automotive industry and a center of reference in agriculture," she adds.

In recent years, Rosario has been sought by tourists for its unique beauty, captured by the sharp contrast between the metropolis and nature. The city also attracts tourists for its street festivals, riverside bars and restaurants, parks, walking trails and art galleries.
