LAN provides special services for our passengers with special needs. Please request these services through our Contact Center or at any LAN office.
People who need  any kind of special service cannot check in through LAN.com.

Other Special Needs

Pregnant Passengers

From week 32 of pregnancy, pregnant passengers need a medical certificate to travel, which must indicate how many weeks pregnant they are and give them authorization to travel by air. During week 36, they can only travel on flights lasting less than 6 hours and from week 37 onwards, they cannot board any flight. Women who want to travel a week or less after giving birth also need a medical certificate.

Special Meals

Passengers who require a meal service that differs from the standard service offered, must request it by calling our Contact Center or any LAN office at least 48 business hours in advance. This service is only offered on international flights, except for routes that serve a snak, e.g.: Santiago - Mendoza.

  • Children´s meal.
  • Bland meal.
  • Meal for diabetics.
  • Gluten intolerant meal.
  • Kosher meal.
  • Low calorie meal.
  • Low fat meal.
  • Low sodium meal.
  • Low lactose Meal.
  • Vegan vegetarian meal (without dairy products and eggs).
  • Lacto-ovo vegetarian meal (including dairy products and eggs).
  • Japanese meal (only on routes to and from Los Angeles).
