• VIP Lounges

With the guest of your choice, you can enjoy more than 550 VIP lounges belonging to LAN and other airlines from the oneworld alliance. This benefit can be used by the membership holder (Emerald or Sapphire) and a guest, as long as both are traveling on flights operated by LAN or by other airlines in the oneworld alliance, regardless of the member's flight class.

    Modern, welcoming and comfortable

Many VIP lounges provide Internet access, a bar, telephones and other amenities. Some have showers and a wide range of business services, including meeting facilities. Access is subject to the lounge's capacity. It is important to point out that access to the VIP lounges is based on:

    VIP Lounges

    Departure flight carrier:

You must depart on the next leg of your trip on the same day, on a flight sold and operated by a member airline of the oneworld alliance. An exception applies in VIP lounges in Santiago; if a flight is sold by LAN and operated by any other airline, not necessarily in the oneworld network, the member will be invited to use the VIP lounge.

    VIP Lounges

    Frequent flyer category:

You must present a current frequent flyer card with Emerald or Sapphire category in the oneworld network.

    Travel class:

You must present an Business Class boarding pass corresponding to the international leg of the trip on that same day. Most of the VIP lounges are owned and operated by an airline in the oneworld network.

In some locations, the VIP lounges may be operated by a third party (a company not affiliated with oneworld), representing the oneworld airlines.

American Airlines and Qantas offer programs that allow their clients to pay to enter their VIP lounges. Those who choose this benefit will not be able to automatically access other oneworld airlines' VIP lounges.

VIP lounges in the Santiago Airport

Let LAN treat you to an environment where you can work, be entertained, or just get some rest. A natural setting with plenty of open space sets our Neruda and Mistral VIP lounges in Santiago's Arturo Merino Benítez International Airport apart from the rest. Our lounges were designed with the aim of providing first-rate service to our passengers flying Business class and to members of the top two categories in the LANPASS frequent flyer program (Premium Silver and Comodoro).

If you wish to use the Mistral lounge in Santiago with more than one guest, including children, they will have to pay an entrance fee. A preferential price is offered to our members, but the benefit is subject to availability. This applies only to Comodoro members (preferential price of US$ 17) for a second or additional guest older than 2 years of age.

The VIP lounges in the Santiago Airport offer first-rate services, such as:

    • Business Center: Equipped with the most advanced technology. This includes eight workstations equipped with personal computers and internet connection, fax and photocopy machines and printers.
    • Connections: The VIP Lounge has network access points at various locations for connecting personal computers. In addition, there are telephones for local and international calling using a variety of carriers.
    • Entertainment while you wait: The lounges offer cable television and international magazines and newspapers.

    Location:

The Neruda and Mistral VIP lounges are located in the international boarding zone, between gates 17 and 20. Operating hours: Monday through Sunday from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.

    Note:

    • Access to the airlines' First Class VIP lounges is limited to Emerald members.
    • During peak hours, access to certain VIP lounges may be restricted due to capacity limitations.
    • Access is available on the day of departure if your next departing flight is with a oneworld network member airline (there is an exception for flights departing after midnight).
    • Access may be restricted to some VIP lounges operated by non-affiliate airlines representing members of oneworld.
